Battle Ground

Danielle Armstrong is currently in her first year as the Band Director at Battle Ground High School in Battle Ground, WA. Previously, she taught 21 years at Chief Umtuch Middle School in Battle Ground.  During her long tenure there, she built the program to have 4 grade levels of excellent concert bands, 2 levels of award-winning Jazz band, and an exceptional marching band. 

Danielle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from George Fox University, where she was extensively involved with the instrumental and vocal programs. After teaching for several years and raising three children, she earned her Masters of Music degree from American Band College of Central Washington University. 

Danielle loves the outdoors and traveling, as well as  spending time with her family and their many pets.  She truly loves sharing the joy of music with students and has been involved with a large variety of music ensembles in schools and around the community throughout her career.
